The Aquatic AV RF6 is a wireless remote control handset for Aquatic AV’s 6-Series stereos. It lets you change songs and volume from anywhere on the boat within range. This listing is the handset only, for adding a second remote or replacing a lost one.
It is completely waterproof, rated IP66 and CFR46, and it floats if dropped overboard. Radio frequency control works from up to 40 feet away, so you don’t need line of sight. It meets ASTM B117 salt spray and ASTM D4329 UV exposure standards.
The built-in lithium polymer battery charges through USB at 5 volts and holds a standby charge for about 15 days. The handset measures 138 x 66 x 20 mm. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more marine audio accessories.
