The Aquatic AV White Gauge Stereo Speaker Kit puts the GP1 gauge stereo and two Economy speakers in one box. The GP1 fits a standard 3 in gauge cutout, so it drops into the dash next to your other gauges. The stereo and speakers are matched, so there is no guesswork on power or impedance.
The GP1 puts out 4 x 45 W at 4 ohms or 4 x 72 W at 2 ohms and can drive up to 8 speakers or subwoofers. It has one USB input, one RCA stereo input and a 2 V RCA pre-out for adding an amplifier, and it plays MP3 files from USB. The aluminum chassis is IP65 rated, the face is 3-5/8 in across with a monochrome display and blue backlight, and mounting depth is 3-1/4 in.
The Economy speakers have 4 ohm impedance and 83 to 20,000 Hz frequency response. They use polypropylene cones, Mylar dome tweeters with neodymium magnets and plastic grills and baskets rated UV stable for 500 hours. They need a 5-3/32 in mounting hole and about 2-1/16 in of depth, and they are water resistant for boats and spas. Other stereos and kits are in our marine stereos section.
