Burris’s Scout scope is built with extended eye relief for forward-mounted use ahead of the rifle’s action, a common setup on scout rifles that keeps the ejection port clear and allows for faster target acquisition. This 2-7×32 model uses the Ballistic Plex reticle with 0.5 MOA click adjustments for precise zeroing.
The extended eye relief this scope is built around lets it mount well forward of the shooter’s eye compared to a standard rifle scope, which matters specifically for the scout rifle mounting position. The matte black finish keeps glare down in the field.
For scout rifle owners who need a scope actually built for that forward-mounted setup rather than a standard rifle scope pressed into that role, this is purpose-built for it.
