The Cattlemans Cutlery Signature Trapper has satin 3Cr13 stainless clip and spey blades in a red jigged Delrin handle with stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4.13 inches.
Red is the darker of the two bright Signature colors, closer to a traditional stag or bone tone at a distance while still standing out on a bench or in grass. Jigging presses grooved texture into the Delrin, which grips where a smooth surface turns slick and copies the look of jigged bone without the upkeep.
The clip blade takes general cutting and the spey’s flat edge and rounded tip handle scraping and skinning without a point to puncture. 3Cr13 comes back to sharp quickly on any stone, which suits a knife touched up often rather than kept for display. Explore more Trapper Knives.
