The EOTECH XPS2-1 strips the reticle down to a single red 1 MOA dot instead of pairing the dot with a large 68 MOA outer ring. That minimalist sight picture is housed in the compact black XPS body with rear-mounted controls. The matte finish keeps the optic visually subdued and familiar alongside black rifle hardware.
A single 1 MOA dot appeals to users who prefer less visual information in the window and do not want the large outer ring used on the XPS2-0. The sight remains non-night-vision compatible, consistent with the rest of the XPS2 line. Rear controls keep the body compact, although they are less convenient than side buttons if a magnifier is installed very close behind the sight.
The XPS2-1 is the clearest choice in this batch for someone who wants a traditional dot-only EOTECH reticle in the XPS housing. It is simpler than the ring-and-dot and multi-dot variants, making the reticle itself the deciding feature. To compare dot-only and ring-based electronic sights, browse optics and rangefinders.
- XPS2-1 presents a single red 1 MOA dot without a 68 MOA outer ring
- Rear-mounted buttons keep the compact XPS control layout
- Matte black finish gives the dot-only sight a neutral exterior
- Non-NV design keeps the model focused on standard illuminated sight use
