The Fiskars 23-1/2″ Splitting Axe is designed for splitting small to medium wood logs with maximum efficiency. The virtually unbreakable Nyglass handle — a fiberglass-reinforced composite — resists breakage and keeps the head firmly in place thanks to an insert-molded design. The fully hardened, forged carbon steel blade features a non-stick coating for easier removal from wood, and the advanced bevel convex blade geometry adds power with every swing. A protective sheath is included for safe storage and transportation.
