The Harken 60mm Single Aluminum Swivel Element Block uses sideplates that combine forged aluminum with compound curves for strength, giving it a modern look without sacrificing the robustness a working block needs.
The design pairs the minimum amount of metal needed to protect the sheave with a proven journal bearing, which is why Element blocks are priced noticeably lower than Harken’s other block lines at the same size.
Hardcoat-anodized sideplates resist corrosion, and a tough composite bearing sheave holds up to long-term service without the rust issues a metal bearing would eventually show. Rated to a 2425-lb maximum working load. See what else we carry in sailing hardware.
