The Schrade Imperial Large Work Knife has stainless blades in a black synthetic handle with an inlay shield, closing to 4.63 inches.
At 4.63 inches closed this is a large traditional folder, longer shut than most pocket knives are open, which puts it in a coat pocket or a toolbag rather than trousers. Imperial built its name on affordable working knives out of Providence, Rhode Island, and the plain synthetic handle with a single shield is exactly that approach.
Synthetic scales hold their shape where bone would move with moisture, and there is nothing on the knife that costs money to make. The blades open on nail nicks over a slip joint, with no lock to release. Explore more Folding Knives.
