The Jabsco Ballast SuperKing is a high-flow reversible ballast pump for wake surf boats with big tanks. It moves 9 to 25 GPM depending on head, roughly 200 pounds of water a minute at full flow. It uses a dual-impeller design, ships with a dry-run impeller, and plugs in with a Deutsch connector. The pump self-primes to 3 feet and is ignition protected to USCG 183.410 and ISO 8846.
Big ballast tanks are what make a large surf wave, and filling them quickly means more time riding and less time waiting. The SuperKing is the high-flow option for that job. It runs on 12V with a 15-amp fuse, and a reversing switch is not included, so plan to use your boat’s ballast control or add a switch.
Mount it low near the tanks and keep the hose runs short. Use full 1-1/4-inch hose on the 1-1/4-inch barbs so flow is not restricted. Find smaller ballast pumps in our bilge and water pumps.
