Jugs | Protector Blue Series
Jugs Protector Blue Series 8-Foot Protective Screen
The tall one. At 8 ft. high by 8 ft. wide this is the biggest panel in the Jugs screen line, a foot taller and a foot wider than every 7 ft. screen, and the only one Jugs sizes for fungo work where balls come off the bat on a rising line. Sixty-four square feet of net, no cutout, so a coach hitting to the outfield or a group standing behind it gets full cover standing up.
The Blue Series build is 1.5 in. diameter 1020 cold-rolled steel tubing at a 1.2 mm wall, bolted joints, 60 ply double-thick Dacron poly-E netting, and half-inch pearl-foam padding under blue vinyl. It is the padded tier below the black Protector frames and above the unpadded Standard screens. The Protector Blue Series L-Shaped Screen is the pitching-position screen in the same series, and Protector Blue Series replacement netting is cut for this frame in an 8-Foot size.
