The Magpul DAKA GRID Organizer for the Pelican V770 Vault is a precision-fit interior for that case. The kit has six triple blocks, six double blocks, and new base foam. It replaces pluck foam with a layout you can change as often as you like. The blocks are expanded polypropylene, a light and resilient material. It is useful for owners who swap firearms in and out of the case for different trips.
Owners who keep more than one rifle in rotation get the most from GRID. A layout for a scoped bolt gun can be reset for a carbine with a red dot and spare magazines in a few minutes. There is no foam to cut, tear, or replace when your setup changes. Use the triple blocks where the rifle needs a wide base and the doubles to pin smaller items in place. Blocks can also hold cleaning kits, ear protection, and range bags in place around the rifle.
The removable center panel makes room for items about 4.25 inches wide, such as a large scope or a magazine in the rifle. Expanded polypropylene is lighter and stronger than typical foam and stays stable in hot and cold vehicles. Liquids and solvents bead off rather than soaking in, so a spill from a cleaning kit wipes away. Make sure your case is the V770 before ordering, since the panels are sized to that case. Spread the weight of heavy items across several blocks so nothing presses on an optic. The case is sold separately. Close and lift the case once to confirm nothing shifts. Keep the base foam in place under the GRID panels. More GRID kits are in our firearm cases and range bags.
