The Mares HR is a second stage built for extreme cold water and technical configurations, working as a main or backup backmount regulator, a sidemount regulator, or a stage regulator. The Vortex Assisted Design uses a curved bypass to direct airflow, holding the diaphragm down through inhalation for sensitive breathing at depth, and the Pneumatically Assisted Design supports high flow rates.
An Adjustable Breathing Comfort System lets the diver tune inhalation effort, and the oversized purge button is straightforward to operate with thick gloves. The body is ultralight technopolymer and the regulator ships with a soft rubber low-pressure hose.
