The Nitecore MT1C Pro is a compact tactical light on a NiteLab UHi 20 LED, giving 1,000 lumens and 360 meters of throw.
Three hundred and sixty meters from a light this size comes from a smooth reflector rather than raw output. A smooth surface concentrates the beam into a tight hotspot, which is what puts light at distance. The trade is less spill around it, so close work is better served by a textured reflector.
Two brightness levels on a single tail switch keeps operation immediate. That is deliberate on a tactical light: cycling through five modes to find the one you want is time that a two-level light does not cost you.
It runs from the included rechargeable Li-ion cell or from a CR123 or RCR123 when needed. The rechargeable cell has its own USB-C connection, so charging does not need the light or a separate cradle. Low stretches to as much as 16 hours. Explore more handheld flashlights.

- The trade is less spill for close work
- Two levels, so no cycling to find one
- The cell charges over USB-C on its own
