The Perko 1/2 in IPS bronze intake strainer is the compact model in this group, for small raw water lines on generators, air-conditioning pumps, and washdown systems. It is made in the USA from bronze. A removable basket stops debris from reaching the pump.
Small pumps are easily damaged by shells and weeds, so even a low-flow line benefits from a strainer. The bronze housing resists corrosion in salt water. Its cover is made for easy basket removal and cleaning.
Confirm the 1/2 in IPS connection size and leave room to pull the basket. Inspect the seals and test for leaks each time the strainer is serviced. Browse more Raw Water Strainers for larger Perko and GROCO strainers.
