It is a perfect morning, the sun shines brightly on the water, it seems to be a shallow pond as there are clusters of rock. The water lilies have slowly sprung forth guided by the morning rays; they are a pretty shade of pink, but as the sun shines upon them the tips of the petals bring forth a tinge of white.
The color combination could not have been orchestrated better than this. The leaves are a duller shade of green blended with a drop of yellow. The artist has brush worked a beautiful piece on the canvas simply to be admired.
