The Quick T6315 is a non-reversing solenoid unit for windlass and capstan motors. It works with 700, 1000, 1400, 1500 and 1700 W motors. A non-reversing unit is for windlasses and capstans that only haul in.
If your windlass also needs to power down, you need a reversing unit instead. External connections make installation easy without opening the case. The waterproof casing protects it in a damp anchor locker.
