The featured MK11 EVO/R105 pairs a chrome-plated brass first stage with an air-balanced diaphragm design, forged brass construction, and a double spring layout that keeps the assembly compact while holding steady across water temperatures. Two high-pressure ports sit at a 15-degree angle for clean hose routing, and four low-pressure ports open up your routing options; the whole first stage carries CE Certification under EN250A for cold-water use. The R105 second stage uses a classic downstream valve in a durable metal housing with an anti-scratch front cover, rated for Nitrox mixes up to 40% and an INT connector, so it works across warm, cold, and temperate water.
The Scubapro R105 Octopus backs up that setup with the same downstream valve design in a lighter, unbalanced second stage, a metal valve housing for cold-water durability, and a 39-inch yellow hose with a high-visibility yellow faceplate that’s easy to spot and hand off underwater.
