Sika SikaBiresin AP017 is a polyester fairing compound in a 1 gallon can for composite and marine repair. It spreads as a smooth paste and sands easily to a clean feather edge. That makes it a good choice for fairing and filling before final finishing.
The compound bonds strongly and sets quickly with minimal shrinkage. It is used for gelcoat blister repair, fixing fiberglass parts, filling cloth print-through, and tooling or model work. Once cured, the surface is ready for coatings or films.
