The Streamlight MegaStream HP USB is a rechargeable flashlight giving 1,350 lumens at 310,000 candela in black.
Three hundred and ten thousand candela is the striking number here, not the lumens. That is an exceptionally tight beam for a light of this size, reaching well over a kilometer. Candela measures how much light goes in one direction where lumens measure the total, and for reach the first number is the one that counts.
The HP designation marks the high performance reflector that concentrates the output that tightly, at the cost of a narrow beam with little spill for close work. It is USB rechargeable, so no cells to buy, and the compact body suits a pocket rather than a belt. Explore more handheld flashlights.
