The Sufix 832 Advanced Lead Core is 18 lb test, 10-color metered line on a 600 yard spool. It’s the first lead core to braid HMPE and GORE performance fibers around the lead wire. Sufix says it dives 30% deeper and is 70% stronger than traditional lead core.
Each color runs a set length, so you can count colors to know how much line is out and repeat a productive depth. It’s more sensitive, with three times the abrasion resistance. It’s also rounder and more UV resistant than standard lead core.
Lead core is a trolling line that gets lures down without downriggers. Pair it with a backing line and a leader. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more trolling and fishing equipment.
