The Walther Framelock has a 1.5-inch black-finished 440C stainless blade with a black metal alloy handle, a finger ring and a cord lanyard, closing to 3.5 inches, with a black nylon belt sheath.
The finger ring is the defining feature, a steel loop at the butt that a finger passes through so the knife cannot be pulled or twisted out of the hand, a retention idea borrowed from karambit and rescue designs. 440C was the benchmark stainless in production knives for decades and still holds up, with high chromium for corrosion resistance and enough carbon to take a fine edge.
At 1.5 inches the blade is short by design, keeping the whole package compact enough to ride on a belt or in a pack without notice. The black finish cuts glare and slows corrosion, and the cord lanyard adds a second retention point alongside the ring. Explore more Framelock Knives.
